Senior Healthcare AI Engineer

We are seeking a Healthcare AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions across clinical, operational, and experience-management use cases. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare workflows, data engineering, machine learning, and responsible AI, with a strong emphasis on real-world impact, compliance, and scalability.You will work closely with healthcare stakeholders, product teams, and integration partners to turn complex healthcare data into intelligent systems that improve outcomes, efficiency, and experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesAI & Machine LearningDesign, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for healthcare use cases such as:Clinical decision supportPatient experience & sentiment analysisRevenue cycle & claims intelligenceOperational optimization & forecastingBuild and maintain LLM-powered applications (RAG, agents, copilots) for healthcare workflowsEvaluate model performance, bias, drift, and reliability in regulated environmentsData Engineering & IntegrationWork with structured and unstructured healthcare data (EHR, claims, surveys, notes, tickets)Build pipelines using modern data stacks (APIs, ETL/ELT, streaming)Integrate AI solutions with healthcare systems such as:EHR/EMR (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.)ERP / Financial systemsExperience platforms (Qualtrics, surveys, feedback tools)Healthcare Compliance & Responsible AIDesign AI solutions aligned with HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, and healthcare privacy standardsImplement data governance, access controls, and auditabilityEnsure ethical AI practices: explainability, transparency, and human-in-the-loop workflowsCollaboration & DeliveryPartner with clinicians, operations, IT, and leadership teams to translate needs into AI solutionsSupport pilots, POCs, and enterprise rolloutsDocument architectures, models, and decision logic for technical and non-technical audiencesRequired QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong experience in Python (required)Hands-on experience with:Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)LLMs and AI orchestration (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, etc.)Vector databases & retrieval systems (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate)Experience building APIs and microservicesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Healthcare & Domain Experience7+ years of experience working with healthcare data or healthcare systemsUnderstanding of healthcare workflows (clinical, financial, operational, or experience)Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) is a strong plus
