AI-Assisted Web Development Role at Glide WebsiesGlide Websites is hiring a highly capable AI-assisted Web Developer who can build production-ready websites using AI tools, fix all edge cases, and ensure the final output is polished, fast, and SEO-optimized.• AI websites often come with rough edges.• Your primary responsibility is to refine, debug, and elevate AI-generated websites into high-quality, conversion-focused experiences.AI Website Creation and Refinement• AI-Assisted Web Development• Build complete websites using AI tools such as Replit, v0.dev, Lovable, Cursor, Bolt.new, etc.• Prompt AI effectively to generate SSR-optimized, SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive websites.• Identify and fix AI-generated layout issues, responsiveness bugs, or broken components.• Refine and enhance AI-generated designs to ensure a premium, professional user experience.Technical SEO and Analytics Setup• Technical Implementation• Implement strong SEO fundamentals: meta tags, OG tags, schema markup, sitemaps, robots.txt, proper heading structure.• Set up GA4, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools.Technical Implementation and Backend Setup• Configure deployments using Cloudflare Pages/Workers, Vercel, or similar hosting environments.• Utilize GitHub for version control and workflow management.• Set up simple backends (Node.js/Express preferred) and integrate third-party APIs when required.• Configure and manage basic databases (Supabase, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).Quality Assurance and Optimization• Ensure websites are modern, clean, fast, and optimized for Core Web Vitals.• Test for edge cases across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.• Ensure accurate routing, SEO compliance, accessibility, and minimal technical debt.AI-Assisted Design and UX• Ability to prompt AI to generate clean, modern, high-quality UI layouts.• Understanding of current web design patterns and best practices.• Ability to refine AI-generated UI for consistency in spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy.Core Development Tools and Frameworks• Strong experience with AI development tools: Replit, v0.dev, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt.new• Basic to intermediate understanding of React, Next.js, TailwindCSS.Core Technical Proficiencies• Ability to build or refine SSR-optimized websites.• Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals.• Experience setting up: GA4, Google Search Console, Sitemaps and indexing.• Familiarity with: Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, DNS configuration.• Ability to troubleshoot layout issues, build errors, routing problems, and design inconsistencies.• Comfort with GitHub workflows (commit, push, branching).Additional Desirable Skills• Good to Have:• Experience with Next.js 14/15 App Router.• Familiarity with Weglot or other translation tools.• Experience with Figma or AI-based design tools.• Exposure to CRO and high-converting landing page design.• Experience with Shopify or WordPress migrations.• Understanding of Cloudflare Worker routing, caching, and rewrites.• Basic security knowledge (CORS, API keys, form validation, spam protection).Candidate Qualities and Output Refinement• Ideal Candidate Profile:• Able to take AI-generated output from 70% to 100% production-ready quality.• Strong at problem-solving, debugging, and ensuring pixel-perfect responsiveness.Attention to Detail in UI• Detail-oriented and unwilling to accept sloppy or inconsistent UI.Work Ethic and Technical Acumen• Moves fast, communicates clearly, and understands modern web standards.Send email at abbaz@
