The role ensures patients clearly understand treatment costs, payment options, insurance processes, and financial assistance programs while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Patient Financial Consultation Meet patients to explain IVF treatment costs, financial policies, and available payment options. Provide clarity on overall treatment financial commitments. 2. Financial Planning & Counselling Prepare and explain detailed cost estimates for treatment procedures. Guide patients with financial planning to manage treatment expenses effectively. 3. Payment Management Develop and implement suitable payment plans. Explain payment terms and conditions clearly to patients. Monitor patient accounts and follow up to ensure timely payments. 4. Documentation & Record Management Maintain accurate and updated financial records of patients. Prepare financial reports and maintain required documentation. 5. Patient Education & Support Inform patients about financial assistance programs and funding options. Address patient queries related to treatment finances and payment processes. 6. Coordination with Medical Team Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient treatment flow. Communicate financial constraints that may impact treatment plans. 7. Compliance & Policy Adherence Ensure all financial activities comply with healthcare regulations and legal standards. Follow internal financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements. 8. Process Improvement Stay updated with changes in healthcare financing, insurance policies, and IVF cost structures. Recommend improvements to financial counselling processes and patient support systems. 9. Professional Development Participate in training programs, workshops, and skill development initiatives to enhance knowledge and performance.
