Executive Compensation ExpertiseAnalyze CEO, CFO, and Named Executive Officer (NEO) compensationInterpret:Base salaryAnnual incentivesLong-term incentive plans (LTI)RSUs / PSUsStock optionsPerformance-based awardsUnderstand grant-date fair value, vesting schedules, performance metrics, and change-in-control provisionsRecognize cross-industry compensation benchmarking trends2. Proxy Statement & Footnote AnalysisConduct deep reviews of DEF 14A filingsInterpret Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A)Validate data from:Summary Compensation TablesGrants of Plan-Based AwardsOutstanding Equity Awards tablesIdentify inconsistencies or missing disclosures3. Data Validation & Cleansing (Primary Function)Validate raw datasets pulled by the IT LeadIdentify:Missing fieldsIncorrect classifications (e.g., RSU vs PSU)Misvalued equity grantsIncorrect vesting interpretationsStructural inconsistencies or duplicatesReconcile data directly against proxy source documentsWork closely with IT to refine extraction logic and improve parsing accuracy4. Cross-Functional CollaborationTranslate executive compensation concepts into structured data rules for ITAlign technical output with U.S. stakeholder requirementsProvide analytical reasoning behind correctionsCommunicate clearly and confidently with U.S. clientsRequired Background6–10+ years in executive compensation, total rewards, or compensation consultingStrong experience analyzing U.S. public company proxy statementsDeep knowledge of CEO & NEO compensation structuresAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical writing and communication skillsAbility to work directly with U.S.-based stakeholders
