Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. This role requires both technical proficiency and creative storytelling ability.Key Responsibilities:- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for digital platforms (social media, website, ads, etc.) - Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements - Trim footage, add transitions, effects, music, and graphics - Ensure consistency in style, branding, and tone across all video content - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines - Optimise videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) - Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions efficiently - Maintain organised file structures and project archivesRequired Skills & Qualifications- 1-2 years of professional video editing experience - Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro - Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings - Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation is a plus - Good sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling - Familiarity with colour correction and audio editing - Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications- Graduation is a must in a related field. - Experience in corporate, educational, or social media content - Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) - Understanding of current video trends and platform algorithms - Key Attributes - Creative thinker with attention to detail - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to handle feedback positively and adapt quickly - Time management and multitasking abilities
