Urgent Requirement : Industrial Trainer/Capability Development Head (Dairy Technology)Location: Plant-Based (Shrirampur) Function: Industrial Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10-20 yrs in Dairy plant Ops, Quality, Production Or AcademiaExperience Preferred: Dairy Industry + Academia (Dairy Technology)Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Dairy Technology, Dairy Science, Food TechnologyRole PurposeThis is a high-impact role in the Industrial function. The role has blend of both; Core Operational excellence and Academia. The Industrial Trainer or the Capability Head will be responsible for training, mentoring and developing the Dairy Technologist Trainees (GET/Fresher Dairy Technologists) who join us through campus placements, every year.The role ensures that trainees gain the technical, functional, and behavioral skills required to take up independent roles in manufacturing within 1–2 years, locally or globally.This role blends technical dairy knowledge, hands‑on shop‑floor exposure, structured learning delivery, and capability building, ensuring trainees are future-ready for plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery (Technical + Functional)- Deliver theoretical and conceptual sessions aligned with the academic curriculum of Dairy Technology. - Cover core dairy topics including (but not limited to): Milk processing & chemistryDairy microbiologyUHT/sterilization processesDairy product technology (cheese, yogurt, butter, ghee, powders)CIP, hygiene & sanitationQuality assurance & food safetyUtility systems (boilers, refrigeration, effluent treatment)Supply chain basics & plant operationsOn‑the‑Job Training (OJT) CoordinationCreate and run structured OJT plans for trainees inside the plant.Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure: Rotation plans are followedExposure is given across all unitsEvaluation sheets are completedTrainees are supervised safely on the shop floorCapability Development & GroomingAct as primary mentor to trainees for their 1–2 year journey.Conduct periodic capability evaluations and learning assessments.Provide feedback, improvement plans, and role readiness assessments.Identify high‑potential trainees and support their accelerated learning.Content & Curriculum DevelopmentDevelop course materials, presentations, case studies, SOP-based training, and assessment papers.Convert technical concepts into simple, practical learning modules.Build a “Training Handbook / Learning Guide” for each batch.Update content regularly based on industry standards, audit findings and plant needs.Coordination & GovernanceWork closely with: Corporate L&D / Talent TeamPlant HRProduction & Quality HeadsEnsure timely completion of the training calendar.Maintain trainee records, logs, assessments and capability dashboards.Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for leadership.Engagement & Behavioral DevelopmentConduct sessions on workplace discipline, communication, safety behavior, teamwork, and basic leadership skills.Help trainees transition smoothly from academia to corporate culture.Skills & Competencies RequiredStrong foundational knowledge of Dairy Technology Exposure to plant operations and dairy production lines Understanding of hygiene, GMP, CIP, and safety practices Ability to conduct both classroom and practical demonstrationsStrong communication and presentation skills Experience preparing training content/materials Strong mentoring and coaching orientationPassion for teaching and capability development High planning, coordination and follow‑up discipline Note: Candidate with dairy technology or food technology background only will be suitable for this role, hence pls do not apply if you've no experience in the above mentioned field.
