Job Type: Full-TimeExperience: 3 to 7 Years AND 7 to 12 YearsQualification: Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or Civil EngineeringCompensation: Up to 8 - 12 LPAJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Tekla Modeler / Steel Detailer with hands-on experience in Tekla Modeling, structural steel detailing, and connection detailing. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to steel structures, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, clash checking, and report generation. This role requires close coordination with internal teams and client engineers to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and detail structural steel models using TeklaPrepare and check GA drawings and Erection DrawingsPrepare and check Fabrication Drawings, including Part Drawings and Assembly DrawingsPerform clash checking and identify discrepancies in the modelRead and interpret structural and architectural drawingsPrepare Tekla reports such as:Assembly ListBolt ListPart Discrete ListOther project-related outputsGenerate NC files, MTOs, and Bill of Materials (BOM)Coordinate with internal technical SPOCs and client engineers to resolve design discrepancies by raising RFIsUpload Tekla models, final drawings in PDF, and project deliverables on FTP serverSupport project execution with proper understanding of steel fabrication processes and erection sequencesWork with supporting tools such as AutoCAD where requiredRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Tekla Modeling & DetailingGood understanding of Structural Steel DesignGood knowledge of steel connectionsAbility to prepare GA, erection, part, and assembly drawingsUnderstanding of fabrication processes and erection methodologyExperience in clash checkingAbility to generate reports, NC files, BOM, and MTOGood communication and coordination skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityPreferred SkillsExposure to AutoCADExperience working with client coordination and drawing revisionsFamiliarity with design standards and detailing practices related to structural steel
