Credentialing Specialist

Wellnite is a digital mental health platform supporting licensed therapists and psychiatric providers across the United States. We manage the operational side of care—including provider onboarding, credentialing coordination, and provider network support—so clinicians can focus on delivering care.We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist to support the credentialing and network participation of providers across insurance payers.Responsibilities:Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing with insurance payersMaintain and update CAQH profiles and provider credentialing documentationCollect and verify provider documentation including licenses, NPIs, and malpractice insuranceTrack credentialing status and follow up with insurance networks as neededMaintain accurate credentialing records and documentation trackersAssist with payer roster updates and provider enrollment submissionsWork with internal teams to resolve credentialing-related issues and ensure providers are ready to see clientsQualifications: Experience in provider credentialing, healthcare operations, or provider enrollmentFamiliarity with CAQH, NPI registry, and insurance credentialing processesKnowledge of payer credentialing workflows and provider enrollmentStrong organizational and documentation management skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work with healthcare providers and insurance networksExperience working with mental health or behavioral health providers is preferredFamiliarity with telehealth or healthcare platforms is a plusAbility to manage multiple credentialing workflows simultaneouslyDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
