Location: Remote (U.S. Hours: 5PM-2AM IST) Type: Full-Time About The Company Muses Consulting Studio is a Gen-Z-focused collegiate marketing agency that designs and executes ambassador programs, influencer campaigns, and on-campus activations for leading consumer brands across the U.S. Our work sits at the intersection of culture, youth trends, and brand storytelling, powered by a nationwide community of college students and creators.Website: Instagram: Role Overview We’re looking for a relentless, high-ownership Head of Operations who can run point on every single campaign happening at Muses and keep all of them moving at startup speed. This is a fast-paced, high-intensity operator role. You will directly oversee every campaign manager and ensure that every campaign across the company is executed flawlessly: on time, on budget, and at the quality bar we expect.This is a hands-on, execution-heavy, daily operational leadership role. You will be inside every campaign, every day: setting strategy, creating execution plans, unblocking issues, refining processes, and working side-by-side with campaign managers to drive results.Key Responsibilities1. Turn Brand Briefs Into Actionable Execution PlansReview every new brand brief thoroughly, breaking it down into executable plans Define recruitment strategies, quality standards, measurable outputs and budgets (student payments, creator fees, ads, printing, reimbursements, etc.)Create campaign timelines (weekly + daily milestones)This person ensures every CM starts with a flawless, concrete blueprint: no ambiguity.2. Oversee Every Campaign Manager Across Every Stage of ExecutionDuring Student Recruitment:Review all sourcing channels used for student recruitment (IG ads, flyers, group chats, ambassadors, outreach lists)Identify when channels underperformDevelop and activate new sourcing channels (new pages, student communities, paid funnels, partnerships, ambassador ref programs)Audit recruitment scripts, pitches, onboarding methodsHelp CMs handle pipeline issues, late applicants, client deliveries, dropout risksDuring Execution:Check every campaign managers’s progress, deliverables, and communication logsOpen and review every element of each campaign to ensure nothing is missed Help CMs make payments to students and coordinate reimbursementsEnsure every asset (photo/video/content) meets quality standardsQuality Control: You will be the final eye on: client communications, student deliverables, content assets, communication templates, quality standards, campaign decks etc. 3. Maintain & Monitor Campaign Budgets (Weekly + Total)Track weekly costs vs allocated budgetEnsure student payments are accurate and on-timeMaintain micro and macro view of company campaign spend5. Weekly Reporting to the FounderCampaign progress (per campaign + per CM) with proactive communication of risks, delays, obstacles and potential solutions Budget statusPer-campaign status You are the founder’s eyes into day-to-day execution.6. Build & Maintain Operational Systems (SOPs, Docs, Processes)Create SOPs for every repeatable processStandardize onboarding, reporting, recruitment, tracking, QA, and client updatesThis role is half firefighting, half building structure for scale.7. Train, Coach & Maintain the Performance of Campaign ManagersTrain every new CM from scratch, teaching them operating frameworksProvide scripts, process guides, templatesMonitor their speed, quality, communication, reliabilityGive corrective coaching immediately when neededBuild a culture of accountability, speed, and excellenceYou are responsible not just for campaigns, but for the people running them.What You Should Have to Succeed: Proven Experience Running High-Volume, Fast-Paced Operations: Has managed multiple projects or campaigns simultaneously in a startup, agency, or operations-heavy environment where speed, deadlines, and constant problem-solving were the norm.Hands-On People Management & Accountability: Has directly supervised coordinators/associates/field teams and is comfortable holding people accountable daily, giving corrective feedback, and driving performance standards.Expertise in Recruitment Pipelines, Quality Control & Deliverables Review: Has handled large-scale recruitment funnels (creators, ambassadors, interns, etc.), reviewed creative or operational deliverables, and maintained high quality in fast-moving environments.Systems, SOPs & Budget Management Experience: Has built workflows, trackers, SOPs, and reporting systems; managed budgets weekly; and handled payments, reimbursements, and operational financial tracking with accuracy.A deep understanding of Gen-Z culture, social media trends, and campus life in the U.S. Ability to think both strategically (big picture) and tactically (execution details). Comfortable working U.S. hours and managing cross-time-zone communications.
