Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities To ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory requirements as a 2nd class mine manager under Regulation 45 of MMR-1961. To oversee Daily mining operations like Drilling, Blasting, Breaking and Loading Ore. To carry out Opencast-Mines Development Activities and Overburden handling works. To ensure compliance with Safety & welfare of Mines as per Mines Act-1952, MMR-1961 & Mines Rules-1955,considering DGMS guidelines. Conduct Risk Assessments and timely implementation of control measures as per the Safety Management System. Prepare, maintain and comply all statutory reports and documents, as required. To review and recommend improvements for operational safety, efficiency, quality and productivity. To lead the Team of Mining Foremen, Mining Mates, Mine Supervisors and HEMM Operators To extract minerals safely and cost- effectively by optimum use of resources. To monitor Mine production levels and adjust operations as needed to meet targets within the timeframe. To Investigate and Report accidents/incidents, implement corrective actions as required. To assist the Mine Manager regarding mining operations and safety provisions implementation. To plan Drilling and Blasting for meeting production targets. To train and develop staff for enhancing skills, performance and appraise them annually. To Promote a culture of Teamwork and Continuous Improvement.
