Business Development (Associate / Senior Associate) Inside Sales - Business Development - Admissions Counseling - B2C Sales - Consultative Sales On-site | Delhi | Full-time Compensation: Typical CTC range: ₹6,00,000 - ₹10,00,000 including incentives. Higher ranges may be offered for candidates with more experience and accomplishments in Business Development / Inside Sales. Seniority: This role is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates, with evaluation for Senior Associates as well during the process. The detailed version of the role As a Business Development Associate / Senior Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for people exploring Kraftshala’s programs. This is a 50% consultative admissions counseling + 50% structured inside sales role, where you guide applicants through clarity, empathy, and disciplined execution - while meeting your monthly enrolment, revenue, and pipeline conversion targets. Responsibilities: - Speak with students who show interest in our programs and guide them on whether the course is right for them. - Run structured consultative sales conversations covering curriculum, learning outcomes, faculty, fees, placements, and expectations. - Handle objections confidently and thoughtfully - supporting applicants through doubts on finances, program fit, career paths, and timelines. - Follow up consistently so prospective students don’t miss deadlines or lose interest. - Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates for all conversations and pipeline stages. - Share insights from student conversations with marketing to improve lead quality and messaging. - Represent Kraftshala with empathy, clarity, and professionalism in every interaction. - This role mirrors the expectations of Inside Sales Representatives, Senior Business Development Executives, and Enrollment Advisors in fast-paced education and B2C sales teams. Monthly Outcomes - Month 1: Learn the ropes — understand our programs, shadow calls, and start taking your first few admissions with guidance. - Month 2: Run independent admission calls, handle objections confidently, and begin hitting individual enrollment targets. - Month 3+: Own your pipeline end-to-end — consistently close admissions, exceed revenue goals, and help improve our processes. Experienced candidates may transition faster into responsibilities typical of Senior Inside Sales roles. Must Haves - Strong English communication skills (spoken & written) - Comfort working with targets, follow-ups, and structured sales processes - Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, simple tracking tools) - Motivation to build a career in sales, admissions, or education counseling Good-to-Haves - Prior experience in Inside Sales, B2C Sales, Admissions, Enrollment Counseling, or Edtech Sales - Student leadership experience, volunteering, or side projects showing initiative Recruitment Process As a small team, we must get to know each other before taking the leap. We want to ensure you succeed in your role within our team. Each conversation with us will last about 30-60 minutes, and will be a mix of online and in-person interactions. - Conversation 1: This will be a virtual call with the HR team to understand your profile briefly and share the details of the selection process to set expectations about what you’re signing up for - Technical Exercise: This is a specific assessment designed to evaluate your fit for this role - Conversation 2: This will be a detailed assessment review conversation with the Admissions Lead to go over your submission for the technical exercise where you can expect to be further evaluated on the competencies needed for the job (mentioned above). - Conversation 3: A conversation with our CEO to ensure that there is a fit with the Kraftshala Kode (read below about it). - Extending an offer: If all goes well, we will extend an offer that will mention the relevant details.
