Purpose/ObjectiveThe Project Head is responsible for driving the financial performance and sustainable growth of the water business by implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing revenue, and managing costs. They lead project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, safety, and compliance, while building a strong, agile organization and fostering positive client and stakeholder relationships to support business development.*Key Responsibilities of RoleBusiness Strategy:Take full accountability for the financial performance of the water business, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Implement strategies to optimize revenue, reduce costs, and maximize return on investmentEmpower and support the business development team through strong client relationships and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with the business development team to leverage these relationships for business growth, while focusing on the successful execution of projectsCollaborate with the executive team to identify and assess potential greenfield, brownfield, and M&A opportunities. Provide input and support during the evaluation and decision-making processProject Management:Lead project teams to ensure timely completion of projects within the defined cost and quality & safety parameters. Monitor progress, address challenges, and implement corrective actions as necessaryUphold and enforce the highest standards of quality across all projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the business from potential threats. Establish controls and processes to monitor and manage risks effectivelyEnsure that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met and exceeded. Implement governance practices that uphold the integrity and ethical standards of the organizationOrganizational Building:Develop and implement strategies to build a capable and agile organization that can effectively deliver on business targets. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationMentor and develop a strong team of professionals capable of leading the business. Focus on succession planning, leadership development, and talent retention to build long-term organizational strengthEstablish a performance-driven culture across the organization, promoting accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement. Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for delivering resultsFoster a highly engaged workforce by empowering team members, providing them with the necessary tools and resources, and recognizing their contributions.
