BMS Testing and Commissioning Technician (Saudi Arabia)

The client is headquartered in Saudi Arabia and is looking to hire a BMS Testing and Commissioning Technician for their team at Dammam, Saudi Arabia.Candidates willing to relocate to Dammam, Saudi Arabia may apply.The Testing and Commissioning Technician will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and commissioning automation systems for various industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. This position involves creating application programs, HMI graphics, and technical submittals for automation projects, as well as coordinating with distributors, customers, and project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:1. System Design and Programming:Design automation systems for industrial, commercial, and residential buildings.Develop application programs for controllers following standard operating procedures (SOP).Create HMI graphics for handheld operator displays and servers.2. Technical Documentation and Drawing Preparation:Prepare AutoCAD/Visio schematic drawings, network drawings, shop drawings, panel layout drawings, and control drawings for BAS projects.Develop technical submittals and logic of operations for automation projects.Estimate project costs for various building automation system projects.3. Commissioning and Testing:Install and program BMS controllers and IO modules according to equipment specifications.Test BMS control panels and hardware.Conduct pre-commissioning tests and commission HVAC automation controls such as FCU, VAV, AHU, VFD, and chillers.Commission and calibrate all field equipment according to industry standards.Integrate devices using BACnet and Modbus protocols.4. Reporting and Documentation:Prepare weekly progress reports and document technical modifications, commissioning activities, and checklists for review by the project manager.Maintain accurate documentation of project timelines, commissioning reports, and technical specifications.5. Supervision and Quality Assurance:Supervise the installation and commissioning of all BMS systems.Ensure third-party integration on various platforms such as BACnet and Modbus Protocol using system mapping details.Maintain high standards of work quality and adhere to project timelines.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Proven experience in designing, testing, and commissioning automation systems, preferably in the building automation industry.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and other relevant design software.Strong programming skills and experience with BMS controllers and protocols (BACnet, Modbus).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
