Who We Are Looking For This role requires an experienced, target-oriented commercial leader who is passionate about understanding and creating value through transformational change. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of selling into new markets, being entrepreneurial, and delivering on sales outcomes working with global B2B customers. Experience: 10 to 15 years in Technology Consulting Sales or Corporate Learning & Development products or HR Consulting or HRMS technology platform sales. All experience needs to be in India. Industry Network: Established and proven relationships with CXOs in technology services companies and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. Sales Leadership: Ability to carry an individual target while leading a commercial team to achieve team-wide sales objectives. Start-up Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment, taking quick and decisive actions. You need to be driven and a self-starter in this role Team Leadership: Proven experience leading and inspiring a team of business development representatives, sales associates and senior managers. Market Expertise: Significant experience in strategic selling of high-value technology led solutions / platforms in India at an Executive Management level and growing existing accounts. Consultative Selling: Strong ability to engage clients in a consultative approach, identifying their business requirements and positioning Trumio’s capability and platform effectively. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills AI capability – Ability to work efficiently with AI tools (like Claude Cowork, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc) and tools with embedded AI capability (e.g. Hubspot) Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for the full commercial continuum, from lead prospecting to successful deal closures to growing existing accounts. This includes: Sales Strategy: Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals, targeting the appropriate market segments. Sales Execution: Develop own pipeline while also enabling team to develop qualified pipeline. Close sales as per company targets. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects and leverage existing networks to drive sales growth. Team Management: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing commercial team. Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to help them exceed sales targets. Target Setting & Forecasting: Set realistic sales targets, analyse sales data, and adjust strategies as needed. Sales Enablement: Work with management to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and resources for effective selling. Collaboration with Marketing: Align sales and marketing strategies for cohesive lead-generation and account growth campaigns. Performance Evaluation: Implement sales performance metrics, analyse data, and refine strategies for sales effectiveness. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities. Additional Requirements Experience in setting up or using CRM systems such as HubSpot. Familiarity with sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Ability to work independently, think strategically, and contribute to improvements in sales and marketing execution. Prior experience managing remote teams This role reports to the Chief Business Officer (CBO), with opportunities to contribute to executive-level decision-making and broader business functions.
