We restore dignity to individuals with limb impairments through innovative, comfortable, and stylish products like the iGrip and AtriEx.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Head of Sales to drive our Pan-India as well as export sales operations and expand our footprint. The ideal candidate will report to the CEO and be a strategic leader with strong background in medical device sales, adept at managing dealer networks, building relationships with rehabilitation professionals and driving revenue growth for advanced assistive products. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Sales Leadership & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute sales strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve volume and revenue objectives for Vispala’s product portfolio (prosthetic hands, legs, joints, sockets).Identify market opportunities: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities.Drive product launches: Lead the launch of new prosthetic products and services into the market.Achieve targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to drive business growth. 2. Relationship Management & Business DevelopmentBuild key partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government rehabilitation centers, hospitals, orthopedic clinics, and NGOs.Engage with stakeholders: Build rapport with certified Prosthetists and Orthotists (P&O’s), clinic owners, rehabilitation doctors, and other medical professionals to encourage product adoption.Dealer Network Management: Develop and manage dealer/distributor relationships in India and abroad, ensuring effective distribution operations and compliance. 3. Team Management & OperationsLead and mentor: Recruit, manage, coach, and motivate regional sales professionals to ensure optimal performance.Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor sales performance and pipeline activity.4. Market Insights & ReportingFeedback loop: Provide insights on product performance and user feedback to Product Management and R&D teams to improve product features.Reporting: Regularly report to the management team on business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields.Experience: 8+ years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleSector: Education and experience in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation equipment strongly desiredProven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, building distribution networks, and launching new products.Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Indian medical device market, particularly within rehabilitation or prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive robotics.Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Travel: Able to travel extensively across India to oversee operations and client engagements.
