Senior DevOps Engineer, Trading Technology

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Architect to elevate their infrastructure and configuration management capabilities.In this role, you will leverage your experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical systems. You’ll be responsible for architecting and enhancing infrastructure solutions, driving improvements across their deployment processes, and supporting system migrations in close collaboration with our Development and QA teams. Key responsibilities include advancing their infrastructure architecture, automating operational workflows, enhancing system observability, and proactively addressing potential production issues through scalable and resilient solutions.Responsibilities:Develop, maintain and manage tools to automate operational activities and enhance engineering productivityAutomate continuous delivery processes and implement on-demand capacity management solutionsDesign and implement configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deploymentsTroubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software issuesUpdate, track and resolve technical issues in a timely mannerRecommend architectural enhancements and suggest process improvementsEvaluate new technology options and vendor products to support business objectivesEnsure the security of critical systems by applying best-in-class security solutions and practicesRequirements:This role requires 5+ years of backend QA engineering experience with full-cycle testing, from designing manual test cases to developing and executing automated scripts.Strong experience with UNIX/Linux is essential, along with solid programming ability in Python and Bash (without the use of AI tools).Candidates should have hands-on experience testing backend systems such as APIs, databases, and distributed services.Our client is looking for someone with a problem-solver mindset someone who enjoys breaking things, uncovering root causes, and understanding both the what and the why.A minimum of 7 years’ technical experience in a similar role, supporting large-scale production systemsFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Solid understanding of Linux-based environmentsProven experience working in large-scale, distributed environmentsStrong programming skills in Python, Go, or a comparable languageProficiency with tools such as Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and similar technologiesExperience with Kafka and Elasticsearch is advantageous, though not essentialA Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)Fluency in English is required for coordination with global partners; additional languages are beneficial.Benefits:• Competitive salary and company benefits• Work-from-home arrangement (the arrangement may vary depending on the work nature of the business team)About SekuroSekuro is an independent cybersecurity consulting firm and we have been operating for more than 7 years.
