Role: CFD Intern (Training + Internship)Responsibilities: Learn the fundamentals of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and its applications in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering. Work on real-world simulation projects involving fluid flow, aerodynamics, and heat transfer. Perform mesh generation, boundary condition setup, and solver execution using CFD software/tools. Analyze and validate simulation results, preparing technical reports and presentations. Collaborate with mentors and peers in a project-based learning environment . Participate in review sessions, discussions, and technical webinars organized by MARS Exploration. What You Will Learn (Training Modules): Introduction to CFD & Governing Equations (Navier-Stokes, Continuity, Momentum, Energy) Basics of Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics CFD Workflow: Pre-processing, Solving & Post-processing Meshing Techniques and Grid Independence Study Turbulence Models and Boundary Conditions CFD Software Hands-On (ANSYS Fluent / OpenFOAM / SimScale / Star CCM+ basics) Case Studies in Aerospace Vehicle Design, Propulsion Systems, and Heat Transfer Final Project: Simulation & Report Submission Eligibility Criteria: Engineering students (UG/PG) in Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or related branches . Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or C++ (preferred but not mandatory). Eagerness to learn simulation techniques and a research-oriented mindset.
