Data Solutions Director

We are recruiting a Data Solutions Director to join a leading Insurance Company in India. This role carries both strategic and operational leadership responsibilities, managing Principal Analysts across APAC and working closely with data engineering, development, and global teams. You will be responsible for establishing regional standards for semantic models, unified data definitions, and Power BI solutions, while guiding the deployment of GenAI capabilities and ensuring consistent data governance across multiple markets.Required Skills & Qualifications Over 7 years’ experience in data solutions, analytics, BI, or data product roles, including recent people management.Demonstrable experience within General Insurance data domains.Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (Premium, XMLA, ALM, optimization, governance).Experience with Snowflake and/or AWS Redshift, plus ETL/ELT tooling such as Informatica.Strong background in semantic model design and unified enterprise data models.Hands-on experience delivering GenAI applications (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototyping), with understanding of responsible AI.Experience implementing enterprise data catalog and lineage platforms.Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality across multiple markets.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with proven success engaging senior executives internationally.
