Role Summary:As a Senior Associate, professional will be leading engagement and responsible for performing audit under remote service delivery model by following Grant Thornton Audit approach, methodology and tools. Roles and responsibility includes execution and supervision of work performed by staff, perform classroom training/on the job training to staff. Working for multiple engagements in rapidly growing fast paced , interactive and result based team environment by collaborating with diverse team.Responsibilities:Develop an understanding of the Grant Thornton audit approach, methodology and toolsDemonstrate working knowledge of auditing and aptitude for technical accounting, including US GAAPExecute components of audit under remote service delivery model in an effective and efficient mannerGain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagementsPerform detailed review of work executed by staff (Analysts and Associates)Implement high standards of quality for performance of team and monitor engagement progress.Provide effective counseling, training, coaching and mentoring to team members to assist them in fully developing their potential. Also provide feedback and directionFacilitate trainings to staff (Analyst / Associate) membersLead multiple audit assignments simultaneously and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast- paced, interactive, results-based team environment by collaborating with diverse teamsDemonstrate maturity, poise and self-confidence in managing self and dealing with colleaguesContribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism toward work challengesBuild relationship with US audit teams and able to identify and discuss complex issues and present workable solutions in a simple, meaningful and focused manner with all levels of employeesEnsure that audit documentation is in compliance with quality standards of the FirmAttend professional development and training sessions on a regular basisUnderstands and adapts to the Grant Thornton corporate cultureSkillsExpert analytical, technical and auditing skillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office toolsStrong interpersonal skillsModerate People management : Managing team of 2 -3 staff (Analyst /Associate) membersProject Management : Manage multiple tasksProblem Solving Skills: Resolve problems of team members.
