Boiler Attendant 1

Operate and monitor 60 TPH high-pressure boilers and auxiliaries (ID/FD fans, pumps, air-preheaters, etc.). Ensure safe and efficient steam generation for distillery processes (fermentation, distillation, evaporation). Maintain steam pressure, water levels, and proper combustion of fuel (biomass/bagasse/coal/biogas as applicable). Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling as per SOP. Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, steam generation, blowdown, and operating parameters. Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs of boiler and associated equipment. Ensure compliance with statutory inspections and certifications under the Boiler Act. Monitor stack emissions, effluent norms, and coordinate with the Environment & Safety team. Report abnormalities, unsafe conditions, or breakdowns immediately to the supervisor. Support continuous improvement in boiler efficiency and fuel utilization.
