We are creating a world-class design platform and innovating a whole new way to design in 3D.Who We Are Looking For: Fabra is looking for a curious and motivated 3D Technical Specialist/Pattern Maker who’s excited to learn, grow, and contribute to cutting-edge digital fashion and apparel projects. You have a keen eye for detail, a strong foundation in 3D tools (especially Style3D or CLO3D), and a passion for translating design ideas into polished, production-ready outcomes.You enjoy collaborating across disciplines - whether you're refining a 3D prototype with a designer or troubleshooting a tricky pattern edge. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and eager to learn from experienced teammates. You bring creativity, reliability, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team’s goals.This role is perfect for someone who’s looking to deepen their technical skills and grow into a more specialized 3D design or digital product role over time.What You’ll Do: 3D Pattern Translation:Translate 2D sketches, technical flats, and specifications into precise 3D patterns and markers using Style3D/CLO3D. Proto to Production:Develop accurate, scalable, and modular 3D prototypes and production-ready patterns based on input from the design team. Grading and Techpacks:Grade patterns and create Techpacks across multiple sizes and specifications while ensuring precision, fit standards, and production feasibility. File Management:Name and organize all technical files according to established conventions to maintain team-wide consistency. Fit Simulation and Iteration:Run virtual fit tests, identify construction issues, and iterate quickly with the team to improve a product's fit and functionality. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to optimize 3D assets for seamless integration into the Fabra’s platform. Library Management:Contribute to a growing 3D library of blocks, trims, avatars, poses, and measurement guides. Industry Awareness:Stay current with advancements in 3D tools, workflows, and best practices in virtual product development.What You Bring: Technical Expertise:3-5 years of proven experience in 3D Garment development with strong proficiency in AI and industry standard technologies. Software Skills:Proficiency in 3D design tools like Style3D/CLO3D and expert level knowledge in Adobe Suite & Blender. Problem-Solving Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Collaboration:Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in cross-functional settings, with a clear ability to explain technical ideas in simple terms. Adaptability:A growth mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies as needed. Passion for Design:Enthusiasm for building a product that empowers creativity and transforms how people design and create physical products. Remote Work Style : Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Thrives in remote, fast-paced environments and takes ownership of outcomes.Bonus Points: Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):Experience with animation, rigging, and texturing for real-time applications.
