Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Job Responsibilities:Safety & Compliance- Strengthen and continuously improve the site’s Safety, Health & Environment Management System. - Ensure complete statutory compliance related to EHS. - Conduct regular risk assessments (HIRA), mock drills, and safety audits. - Lead implementation of LOTO-TO and work permit systems for high-risk activities. - Conduct shop-floor GEMBA walks and promote proactive safety culture through Kaizens, near-miss reporting, and recognition programs.Environment & Sustainability- Oversee ETP, STP, RO, and MEE plant operations. - Drive water conservation and sustainability initiatives. - Lead environmental monitoring and coordinate with regulatory authorities.Capability Development- Conduct safety inductions, refresher training, and awareness campaigns (e.g., National Safety Week, Fire Service Week). - Identify and fulfil EHS training needs across employee levels. - Coordinate unit safety committee meetings and promote engagement.Audits:- Ensuring ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance.Required Experience & Qualifications:- 12 - 16 years experience in EHS with 5 - 7 years experience in FMCG industries. - Trained for conducting HIRA / Safety Risk Assessment - Knowledge of regulations (safety / health /environment legislation) - Good skills in dealing with authorities & agenciesLocation: Rudrapur, UttrakhandNote: 6 days working from office
