About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and passionateGCSE English Language and Literature Tutorto teach students fromYear 7 to Year 11 (UK curriculum). The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging online lessons, improving students' reading, writing, and analytical skills, and preparing them forGCSE examinations (AQA/Edexcel/IGCSE). Key ResponsibilitiesConductlive online classesfor GCSE English Language and English Literature students. Teach key components such as: Reading comprehension Creative and transactional writing Poetry and prose analysis Shakespeare and modern texts Essay writing and exam techniques. Prepare students forGCSE exam patterns, AO1, AO2, AO3, and AO4 assessment objectives. Assignhomework after each classand ensure timely checking with feedback. Track student progress and help improve grades. Providemonthly student performance reports. Maintain class discipline and create an engaging learning environment. Coordinate with the academic team regarding curriculum and student performance.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree inEnglish Literature / English / Educationor related field. Minimum1–2 years of teaching experiencein English Language and Literature. Experience teachingGCSE / IGCSE / UK curriculumstudents preferred. Strong understanding ofexam marking schemes and assessment objectives (AO1–AO4). Excellent communication and explanation skills.Technical RequirementsLaptop or desktop with a stable internet connection. Good microphone and webcam for online teaching. Familiarity with tools such asZoom / Google Meet / Google Classroom / digital whiteboards.Preferred SkillsExperience teachingShakespeare texts (Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, etc.).
