Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Human Resources / Real Estate Industry Location: Mylapore, Chennai Experience Required: 5 – 8 years Industry Preference: Real Estate / Property Development / Construction Salary Package: ₹5 LPA About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Recruitment, Payroll Management, and End-to-End HR Operations , preferably within the real estate industry . The role requires a proactive professional who can manage HR processes efficiently while supporting the company’s growth and people strategy. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning. Maintain a strong pipeline of talent through job portals, networking, and referrals. Payroll & Compliance: Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.). Maintain employee records and HR databases with confidentiality and accuracy. Liaise with finance for timely salary disbursement and reconciliation. HR Operations & Employee Engagement: Manage employee lifecycle activities — onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits. Oversee attendance, leave management, and performance evaluation processes. Implement and support HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and welfare programs. Ensure smooth HR audits and compliance with labor laws and company policies. Learning & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs. Support career development initiatives and performance management cycles. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 5 – 8 years of HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction sector. Strong knowledge of recruitment , payroll , and HR operations . Familiarity with HRMS systems and MS Office tools . Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
