Overview We are looking for a hands-on Technical Superintendent to lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of oil/product tanker fleet. This shore-based role is the critical link between ship and shore—ensuring vessels are always seaworthy, compliant, and operating at peak performance. What will you do? - Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned vessels, supporting Masters and Chief Engineers. - Oversee day-to-day technical and operational maters: maintenance, repairs, spares, stores, surveys, and inspections. - Drive PMS compliance to keep machinery in top condition and vessels incident-free. - Ensure all certifications and class requirements are up to date. - Plan and supervise dry docking, surveys, and repairs, including budget control and post-docking reports. - Conduct vessel performance analysis and advise on fuel and lube oil trends. - Manage operating costs within budget without compromising safety. - Lead incident/accident investigations, implement preventive measures, and close out risk assessments. - Initiate and oversee Management of Change (MOC) for vessel modifications and new installations. - Collaborate closely with owners, charterers, surveyors, contractors, and internal teams. The must haves - MEO Class I – COC - Should have sailed as a Chief Engineer. - Minimum 1 year experience as Technical Superintendent in Shore. - Experience in Bulk cape size carrier vessel - Comfortable with Microsoft Office & reporting systems What’s on offer? - Atractive salary & bonuses - Opportunity to make a positive impact Ready to set your career on course?
