Overview We are seeking an experienced Training Marine Superintendent (Master Mariner) with expertise in Oil/Chemical Tankers to design, deliver, and continuously enhance maritime training programs that meet both regulatory standards and client expectations. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking mariner passionate about education, knowledge-sharing, and improving industry safety through skill and attitude development. What Will You Do? - Develop comprehensive training modules and simulator exercises in line with client requirements, statutory mandates, and regulatory frameworks. - Regularly review and update course materials to reflect evolving industry standards, international conventions, and flag state guidance. - Design and implement simulator-based scenarios tailored to client needs and training objectives. - Conduct periodic checks of simulator software, identify gaps, and coordinate timely rectification. - Manage documentation and ensure timely handover of training records for storage and dissemination. - Stay abreast of changing requirements — both statutory and regulatory — and incorporate necessary amendments in training programs. - Escalate any deviations or non-conformities to clients for effective and timely resolution. - Assist in conducting internal audits and management reviews within the training organization. - Support clients on training compliance and certification-related matters. - Proactively upskill in cross-domain functions to enhance organizational capability. The Must Haves - Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency. - Prior sailing experience as Master on Oil/Chemical Tankers . - Strong understanding of maritime regulations, training frameworks, and competency management systems.
