Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune for a Head Chef at Cafe Kathaa. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes. The role includes managing the kitchen staff, maintaining food hygiene and safety, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients. The Head Chef will also monitor inventory, control food costs, and create innovative recipes that align with the cafe's theme and vision. Leadership and teamwork will be key aspects of the role to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers. Qualifications Proven expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development Experience in staff management, team leadership, and delegation Strong understanding of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and inventory management Culinary creativity and the ability to create innovative and appetizing dishes Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in a similar role Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences
