System Integration Testing Engineer

Job Title: System Integration Testing (SIT) Engineer – Cisco DNAC / Nexus Experience: 5–6 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract About the Role We are seeking a System Integration Testing (SIT) Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco’s DNAC or Nexus platforms . The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the seamless integration of network components and software applications across large-scale or data center environments. This role demands strong expertise in network automation, L2–L7 protocols , and software-defined networking (SDN) principles. Key Responsibilities Testing Strategy & Automation Develop and execute detailed test plans covering functional, performance, and interoperability testing for Cisco DNAC and Nexus-based solutions. Design and implement network automation workflows using tools such as Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to streamline testing and orchestration. Integrate testing activities within CI/CD pipelines (e.G., Jenkins) for continuous validation of new features and updates. Network Testing & Troubleshooting Build, configure, and maintain complex network testbeds including Cisco Nexus 9000/7000 series , fabric networks, and DNAC servers. Validate key DNAC capabilities such as automated provisioning, policy enforcement, and network assurance . Conduct in-depth analysis of network behavior and troubleshoot integration or performance issues. Qualifications 5–6 years of experience in network testing, integration, or automation . Strong knowledge of Cisco DNAC, Nexus platforms , and network protocols (L2–L7) . Proficiency in Python scripting, Ansible automation , and RESTful APIs . Experience with CI/CD tools (e.G., Jenkins, Git) is a plus.
