About the Role: We are looking for a Senior AI Motion Designer to join our creative and venture-building team at Glassbox Ventures. In this role, you will shape high quality motion design and visual storytelling for ventures across industries. You will push the boundaries of design using AI tools, develop dynamic visual systems, and craft content that brings new ideas, brands, and products to life. You will work closely with founders, strategists, and creative teams to translate concepts into compelling motion design that drives attention, clarity, and impact. This role is ideal for someone who loves experimenting with design, understands how AI is transforming creative work, and can blend creativity with speed and precision. Key Responsibilities: Motion Design and Visual Storytelling - Create high quality motion graphics, animations, and visual assets using a mix of AI tools and traditional design software. - Bring brand concepts, product narratives, and complex ideas to life with clear and engaging motion design. - Develop visual systems that work across digital platforms, campaigns, and presentations. AI Powered Design Development - Explore and integrate AI tools into the design workflow to improve speed, quality, and experimentation. - Build repeatable systems and templates that support scalable content creation for multiple ventures. - Stay updated on emerging AI design capabilities and proactively introduce them into projects. Brand Expression and Content Execution - Translate brand strategy and creative direction into consistent design executions across video, social, web, and product contexts. - Create assets for launch campaigns, pitch decks, product demos, and founder storytelling. Collaboration and Team Partnership - Work closely with strategy, product, content, and venture teams to align visuals with the broader vision. - Partner with founders to understand their narratives and convert them into powerful motion-led communication. - Support multiple ventures at a time with clear communication and tight project ownership. Quality and Craft - Maintain high standards of design accuracy, attention to detail, and aesthetic consistency. - Review and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure they meet brand and creative expectations. Requirements — What Do You Need To Succeed? Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in motion design, animation, visual communication, or related creative fields. Strong understanding of design principles, storytelling, and digital content creation. Prior experience using AI-powered design tools is highly valued. Technical Skills: Expertise in tools like After Effects, Premier Pro, Blender or Cinema 4D, combined with hands-on experience in AI tools for video, animation, and motion design. Ability to combine AI speed with human creativity and refinement. Creative Thinking: Ability to take abstract concepts and turn them into visual narratives that are fresh, modern, and impact-driven. Strong point of view on design craft and aesthetic quality. Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced venture environment where priorities shift and experimentation is encouraged. Ability to learn new tools quickly, especially in the AI design space. Communication Skills: Clear articulation of ideas, rationale, and design decisions.
