As the industry moves toward a convergence of AI, automation, and data security, we’re proud to lead that transformation through innovation and resilience.You’ll play a key role in strengthening our infrastructure reliability, database performance, and disaster recovery capabilities as we continue scaling our secure, cloud-native platform.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior DevOps & Database Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and recoverability of Hyly.AI’s databases and infrastructure.You’ll combine DevOps excellence with deep database administration skills—building and validating backup pipelines, managing database migrations, performing recovery drills, and embedding ISO 27001:2022-aligned security controls for data protection.What You’ll DoDesign, automate, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale databases and production systemsManage and optimize MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases for performance, scalability, and reliabilityExecute database version upgrades, schema migrations, and data integrity validations with minimal downtimeImplement ISO 27001:2022-aligned data protection controls including encryption, masking, and retention policiesEstablish and automate RTO/RPO validation and recovery testing in collaboration with DevSecOps and Compliance teamsBuild automation for backup validation and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native pipelinesIntegrate data leakage prevention (DLP) and access control mechanisms into backup and replication flowsMaintain detailed architecture, DR documentation, and recovery runbooks for audit and operational readinessPartner with Engineering and Security teams to ensure resilient infrastructure aligned with ISO, SOC 2Continuously optimize storage costs while maintaining reliability and compliance standardsWho You AreA technically strong DevOps engineer with deep experience managing and securing large-scale databases.Hands-on with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis in production environments, including upgrades and migrations.Experienced in designing and executing disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical systems.Familiar with ISO 27001:2022 controls, encryption standards, and compliance-driven infrastructure.Comfortable working across DevOps, security, and engineering teams to balance reliability, cost, and compliance.Clear, structured communicator who documents processes and drives operational excellence.Bonus Points (Not Required)Experience automating database recovery validation and DR drills.Exposure to data masking, DLP, and data encryption solutions.Prior work in ISO 27001 or SOC 2–certified environments.Familiarity with monitoring and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Wazuh, or ELK).Experience in large-scale SaaS environments handling multi-tenant databases.
