Key Responsibilities- Teaching & Curriculum Development - Deliver and design courses across specialized areas of law. - Develop, update, and evaluate course materials to maintain academic excellence. - Mentor students on academic progress, research projects, and career pathways. - Research & Scholarship - Conduct original legal research leading to peer-reviewed publications, books, and policy reports. - Present findings at national and international conferences. - Pursue research funding and collaborate on interdisciplinary scholarly projects. - Service & Leadership - Serve on departmental and university committees to advance academic governance. - Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and program improvement. - Engage in community outreach and support partnerships with legal institutions. - Professional Engagement - Provide expert consultation in specialized fields of law. - Build strong relationships with courts, law firms, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.Qualifications- Educational Background - Ph.D. in Law. - Academic & Professional Experience - Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university or law school level. - Proven record of scholarly publications in reputable legal journals or academic presses. - Experience supervising student research and engaging in curriculum development. - Skills & Competencies - Strong research, analytical, and writing abilities. - Effective communication and presentation skills. - Commitment to diversity, ethics, and inclusive pedagogy.
