Position: Fashion Designer – Saantha Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Brand: Saantha (Sustainable, artisan-led fashion brand) About Us Saantha is a growing fashion brand working with 2000+ artisans across Jharkhand, creating sarees and garments rooted in handloom, embroidery, and craft — with a focus on elegant, timeless design.Product Range - Sarees & ethnic wear Role Overview We are looking for a highly practical, production-focused designer with minimum 5 years of experience who can create cost-effective, timeless, and scalable designs — not just conceptual work. This role involves end-to-end ownership from design to sampling to production coordination. Key Responsibilities 1. Design with Cost & Scale in Mind Develop saree designs using: Digital prints Screen / block prints Computerised & hand embroidery Ensure designs are: Cost-efficient Easy to replicate in production Suitable for defined price ranges 2. Technical Development Create: CADs / print layouts Tech packs Motif placements Prepare production-ready files for: Printing Embroidery 3. Sampling & Execution Work closely with: Karigars Printers Embroidery vendors Ensure: Accurate sampling Minimum iterations On-time development 4. Vendor & Production Coordination Identify and manage: Print vendors Embroidery units Fabric suppliers Ensure consistency in quality and timelines 5.
