General Manager

Job Description: General Manager – Quality About the organization: Infinium Developers is a startup in the Real Estate space based out of Coimbatore. We're looking for individuals who have a great appetite to learn and contribute to the growth of the organization Role: Quality Industry: Real Estate Designation: General Manager Department: Engineering Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Location: Coimbatore Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Planning & Implementation: o Establish and enforce company-wide QA/QC systems, policies, and inspection procedures. o Develop and implement quality plans, checklists, and test protocols for each stage of construction. o Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and IS standards. 2. Monitoring & Control: o Monitor and control the quality of civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works across all sites. o Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify defects or deviations. o Evaluate workmanship, material quality, and construction practices. o Ensure non-conformities are documented and prompt corrective actions are implemented. 3. Testing & Documentation: o Oversee all material testing, calibration, and third-party inspections. o Maintain records of test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions. o Ensure that all laboratories and testing procedures comply with relevant codes and standards. 4. Training & Development: o Guide and train QA/QC engineers and site teams on quality standards and procedures. o Promote a quality-first culture through awareness sessions and technical workshops. o Continuously improve processes to achieve defect-free construction. 5. Coordination & Reporting: o Work closely with Project, Planning, and Procurement teams to align quality objectives. o Provide regular reports to management on quality performance, site observations, and risk areas. o Ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues and maintain client satisfaction. Desired Candidate Profile: · B.E. in Civil Engineering with 20–25 years of experience in QA/QC within residential and commercial construction. · Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, IS codes, and QA/QC documentation. · Proven experience in managing quality systems across multiple large-scale projects. · Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. · Ability to drive quality excellence and build a culture of accountability and precision.
