Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst (Remote – India)Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our systems, networks, and data from potential threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security events, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents while ensuring compliance with security standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor security systems and analyze alerts to identify potential threatsInvestigate and respond to security incidents in a timely mannerConduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation effortsImplement and maintain security controls, tools, and best practicesPerform regular security audits and risk assessmentsCollaborate with IT and engineering teams to enhance system securityMaintain documentation of incidents, processes, and security measuresStay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trendsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security rolesKnowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint securityFamiliarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)Experience with SIEM tools and log analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skillsEffective communication and documentation abilitiesPreferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, etc.)Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
