Company : Loom saga Location : Hyderabad, India (On-site)Job Type : Full-timeStipend Range : ₹8,000 - ₹10,000 per month (commensurate with experience and skill level)Job Overview This is a hybrid, multi-functional role suitable for a Fashion Design student/fresher who is skilled in sketching and fashion illustration, enjoys Indian handlooms & embroidery art, and wants holistic exposure to how a couture brand operates.The intern will be involved in sketching, embroidery draft creation, photoshoot support, artisan coordination, exhibitions, inventory, and daily brand operations.This is not a desk-only role — this is a hands-on design + operations role where you will see your work come alive in real sarees.Key Responsibilities1. Fashion Design + Creative DevelopmentSketch saree layouts, blouse designs, motifs, borders & pallu conceptsCreate detailed embroidery drafts for zardosi, aari, beadwork & threadworkAssist with handloom layout & motif scalingPrepare moodboards, colour stories & collection conceptsWork directly with the founder on new design development2. Embroidery & Artisan CoordinationExplain designs and drafts to karigarsFollow up daily on progress and timelinesPerform quality checksCoordinate pickups/drop-offsMaintain embroidery production schedules3. Photoshoots & Brand Content SupportAssist during photoshoots (styling, saree prep, organizing looks)Steam ironing, draping & set preparationCapture BTS contentOrganize products and shortlist images post-shoot4. Exhibitions & Brand EventsAssist in setup, display and customer handlingMaintain product presentationHelp in billing, folding, and operations during events5. Operations & Inventory SupportCatalog new arrivalsTrack sarees sent to embroidery/work in progressMaintain inventory sheetsAssist in order packing & coordinationQualifications & Skills Must HaveStrong sketching & illustration skills (mandatory)Good aesthetic sense of colour, layout, and proportionStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to multitask and handle responsibilities independentlyAbility to work with artisans and explain designs clearlyBasic photographyGood to Have (Not Mandatory)Knowledge of Procreate / Adobe IllustratorUnderstanding of Indian handlooms & embroidery techniquesPrior internship experience in a fashion brandUnderstanding of handloom weaving processes
