In this role you will combine traditional editing skills with emerging generative AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance storytelling, and scale content output across platforms. This role sits at the intersection of creative production and intelligent automation. If you love crafting compelling visuals and are excited about leveraging AI to optimize production processes, this job is for you.Responsibilities Creative Editing & Production Edit, assemble, and enhance raw footage into polished videos for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and company websites. Ensure final videos align with brand guidelines, narrative goals, and performance metrics. Design motion graphics, sound mixing, color correction, and subtitles/captions as needed.AI-Enhanced Workflow & Automation Integrate AI tools(e.g., generative video, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, automated editing assistants) to accelerate editing cycles and improve output quality. Use AI-driven analyticsto identify top-performing creative formats and incorporate learning into future edits. Experiment with AI for content ideation, video enhancement, keyword tagging, and automated caption generation.Collaboration & Strategy Work cross-functionally withContent Strategists, Social Media Managers, Creative Directors, and Marketing Analyststo align content with business goals. Participate in story-boarding, concept development, and creative reviews. Contribute to editorial calendars and content planning sessions.Quality Assurance & Optimization Maintain organized file libraries and version control for all video assets. Troubleshoot technical editing challenges and recommend process improvements. Ensure all deliverables meet performance, accessibility, and platform specifications.Required Qualifications Technical Skills Minimum 3+ yearsof professional video editing experience. Proficiency in industry-standard tools:Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent. Practical experience with AI editing tools such asRunway, Descript, Adobe Sensei features, CapCut AI tools, Pika Labs, or similar. Strong understanding ofAI-assisted workflows(auto-transcription, generative fill, auto-colour, auto-cutting, semantic search within footage).Creative Skills Excellent eye for pacing, storytelling, composition, and audience engagement. Strong sense of motion graphics and visual design. Ability to balance creativity with performance objectives (CTR, watch time, retention).Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to experiment with new technologies.Preferred Qualifications Experience creating performance-optimized content forshort-form & long formatsocial platforms(Reels, Shorts, Podcast). Familiarity with generative AI media models (text-to-video, style transfer, predictive editing). Understanding ofSEOprinciples for video content and metadata optimisation.
