The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of business domains and be able to align their edits with marketing goals and brand messaging.Ultimately, we’re seeking a top-notch video editor who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal direction.Company Website: In using premiere Pro for video editing.• With After Effects, particularly for animations.• In handling graphic and animations effectively.• A strong aesthetic sence and attention to detail.• Prepare the creative studio, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting.• Create innovative concepts for original video content for all areas of MR PORTER• Lead all video projects across the brand, from concept through to shoot and production• Be responsible for all shoot research, set-up and execution• Set up and film all video content for ‘The Journal’, behind the scenes, interviews and Fashion Week footage both on location and in studio• Attend editorial meetings, and work with wider Creative team, to produce viable video content ideas which will drive engagement and product sales in a visually beautiful and editorial way• Work closely with the Production team to plan and produce all video content within budget and to agreed timeframes• Create, update and develop all graphic assets for video content, and liaise with the design teams on specific graphic and design needs• Editing, quality controlling, and mastering material for external distribution• Hands-on experience with Brightcove and YouTube Creator is a plus• Position requires sound video pre-production, production, and post-production skills, photography, both studio and location shooting
