Position Title: Technical Specialist/ Lead - SYNONExperience Level: 5+ YearsLocation: Remote, IndiaExpected Skills/ Competency/JD:Competent to work on ALL phases of system analysis and can/may direct others.Studies and analyzes the most complex Company-wide procedures as assigned; strives toward process improvements via concrete measurements and metrics.Conducts thorough problem analysis in regard to technical system and application programs; documents findings and proposes problem resolution alternatives at their highest level.Assists in application development, system design, debugging, interface points between larger, medium complexity cross-departmental systems and code review. Prepares test data and tests coded programs for accuracy. Generally assigned to most complex company-wide systems.Follows departments stated Software Development Life Cycle and leads large scale projects to their completion using appropriate methodologies. Effectively manage Stakeholder communications and expectations at an executive level.Supervise others in formulating logical statements of business requirements and devising procedures for solutions of the requirements through the use of automated systems; adhering to prescribed standards.Responsible for adjusting and monitoring the automatic job scheduler.Must have Skill setISeries AS/400 Programmer utilizing of SYNON, RPG, RPG-ILE, SQL, AS/400 environments, DB2 Database.Ability to write program specification and coding from program specifications is required.Ability to work with API’s and various integration techniques cross platforms.Knowledge and experience with modeling and designing DB2 and SQL on AS/400.Ability to solve difficult problems and deal with a variety of variables without a defined “right-answer”.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities.Embrace change and assist others in accepting and moving forward with new systems and processes.Ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced, sometimes stressful and noisy environment with frequent interruptions.Ability to work quickly in accordance with customers’ time constraints.About DamcoWe are a global technology company with more than two decades of core IT experience.
