Job Description:

GWCC Integration DeveloperROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Take ownership of Guidewire ClaimCenter development to implement and adapt to evolving business requirements. - Collaborate with Business Analysts, Development, and QA teams to scope, size, plan, develop, implement, and support projects within the Claims portfolio. - Ensure solutions include robust unit and functional testing with a high level of code coverage. - Oversee the support and maintenance of the ClaimCenter ecosystem, including integrations with Policy, Financial, CRM systems, external bureaus, third-party vendors, and service providers. - Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive technical and solution documentation, such as architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams, and production runbooks. - Establish, maintain, and enforce engineering standards for security, secure coding practices, logging, alerting, build processes, deployment pipelines, and system integrations.TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS- 8+ years of experience in the IT field, including 6+ years in Guidewire ClaimCenter integration development roles. - Deep expertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models. - 4+ years of experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies. - 6+ years of hands-on experience with J2EE, Apache Tomcat, XML, Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred). - Advanced proficiency in XML, GUnit, Jenkins, Git/Subversion/TFS, and code quality tools such as SonarQube and Netsparker. - Strong working knowledge of application servers like Apache Tomcat or similar platforms. - Proficient in Java and GOSU programming with solid object-oriented design and development (OODD) fundamentals. - Extensive experience developing batch processes, message queues, and event messaging within Guidewire ClaimCenter. - Hands-on expertise in product migrations and conversions by building migration utilities leveraging ClaimCenter APIs. - Proven experience with DevSecOps practices, including establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Claims builds and deployments.GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS- In-depth experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, with a preference for commercial insurance. - Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to manage resource planning, portfolio planning, and budgeting effectively. - Good written and verbal communication skills.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Guidewire ClaimCenter Certification is highly preferred.
