Job description Job Overview : The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of MEP installations at the construction site. This role ensures that the project is executed efficiently, within the given budget and timeline, and adheres to quality and safety standards. The Site Manager plays a critical role in maintaining transparent communication between the internal project team, consultants, and clients, and is responsible for monitoring the progress of MEP installations to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities :1. Team Leadership & Supervision : Lead and supervise the site engineering team responsible for MEP installations. Guide the team to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications.2. Stakeholder Coordination : Coordinate with stakeholders, including site engineers, subcontractors, architects, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution. Facilitate clear communication between all involved parties to avoid delays and conflicts.3. Project Planning & Scheduling : Develop project schedules, implement timelines, and manage budgets for MEP installations. Regularly review and update the progress of work to ensure alignment with the overall project timeline.4. Quality Control & Site Inspections : Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that MEP installations meet design specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment required for MEP systems.5. Conflict Resolution & Issue Handling : Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, particularly related to MEP systems. Take corrective action to resolve delays or problems impacting the execution.6. Monitoring & Reporting : Work closely with the project management team to provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and budget considerations (Monitoring & Control on MSP).Monitor and control day-to-day operations of MEP work, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.7. Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed for MEP installations. Monitor site safety to minimize accidents and risks during installations.8. Client & Subcontractor Coordination : Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on-site communications. Coordinate with subcontractors, the design team, and the purchase team to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.9. System Commissioning : Ensure systems are installed and commissioned according to design specifications and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) norms.10. Problem-Solving & Site Visits : Take necessary actions and provide guidance to the site team when execution is delayed or not proceeding as planned. Visit the site regularly to ensure work is on track and address any concerns promptly. Authorities : Communications : Act as the single point of contact for all project communications with the client & PMO/Office Decision Making:  Responsible for commercial and physical decision-making, ensuring cost impact aligns with the project charter (Project Manager to be informed). Core Skills : Technical proficiency in MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, PHE, etc.).Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage conflicts. Excellent team collaboration skills and ability to motivate teams. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project (MSP), and other project management tools. Education:- B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Experience:- 12-15 years CTC: 12-15 LPA
