Security Assessment & Risk Analysis* Conduct N/W security assessments across the environments* Evaluate network architecture, security controls, and exposure to cyber threats.* Identify misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and policy gaps in networks* Map assessment findings to standards, and industry best practices.Networking & Segmentation* Assess network designs architectures* Review segmentation controls such as VLANs, routing, firewall enforcement, and DMZs* Security profiles (IPS/IDPS, anti-malware, anti-spyware, vulnerability protection)* Validate secure inter-zone communication and least-privilege access* Recommend protocol hardening, secure gateways, and compensating controls* Identify overly permissive rules, shadow rules, and unused objects
