Mechanical / AutomotiveYears of Experience: 9 to 11 yearsLocation: Pune, ChakanPurpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):Responsible to do the simulation for vehicle development activity. Support virtual development and reduce the risk of test issues in BMG & K release. Ensure design is robust for crash, safety.Lead the simulation activities in supplier end. Give technical guidance to achieve project targets.Participate in management meeting and take lead on cost & weight saving ideas. Mentor the junior engineers in the team. Also lead external engineers.Authority:Take a decision for test preparation, execution & result evaluationSkills Required:- Good Knowledge car safety tools – DIADEM, Falcon etc. - NCAP Regulation - Should have testing exposure for Functionality of Product - Good Communication skillKey Responsibility- Car safety test specification preparation, execution of test as per SAVWIPL requirements with test house, co-ordination of test data as per SAVWIPL formats, analysis of test output and reporting in effective and appropriate way and forum for decision marking and implementing. - Based on PEP (Product development process) guidelines ensure that the respective car milestones (technical and budgetary) are completed within the stipulated time period and with the desired results. - Attendance on regular product team meetings, facilitate discussions team wise, interdepartmental, with development consultants and suppliers and Skoda MB to arrive at best solutions for products. - Support the development departments for continuously seek, identify and co-ordinate new Indian technologies / development opportunities based on competitor/market trends, customer requirements, Supplier inputs and Manufacturing requirements. - Support the team regarding budget, test costs, planning and Technical Project management requirements including relevant administrative activities - Ensure compliance with internal and external requirement such as Specifications (LAH) regulatory, homologation and identified Key performance Indicators (KPI’s) - Taking lead on car safety activities in development supplier and providing them technical guidance.Equal Opportunity and Mutual RespectCompany assures equal opportunity and equal treatment, irrespective of ethnicity, skin color, gender, disability, ideology, faith, nationality, sexual orientation, social background or political conviction, provided it is based on democratic principles and tolerance towards those of contrary convictions.
