This role combines solution architecture leadership with hands-on Salesforce development. The Architect will design and govern end-to-end Experience Cloud and Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions while periodically contributing as an individual contributor on complex, high-impact components.Key Responsibilities:Solution Architecture & Technical LeadershipLead the architectural design of enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) using SFRA and Headless Commerce principlesOwn end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce-based eCommerce and digital experience solutionsTranslate complex business requirements into modular, scalable, and secure technical solutions on the SFCC platformDefine and enforce best practices for SFCC customizations, cartridge development, controller logic, and Business Manager configurationsDefine architecture standards, best practices, and governanceAct as technical authority and escalation point for complex issuesMentor and guide Salesforce development teams.Hands-On DevelopmentContribute directly to complex Apex, LWC, integrations, and performance-critical componentsLead code reviews and ensure engineering qualityExperience Cloud & Commerce Cloud Architect Experience Cloud portals including branding, navigation, security, and access modelsDesign Commerce Cloud solutions covering catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order lifecycleIntegrations & Platform EngineeringArchitect integrations with ERP, OMS, payment gateways, CMS, and marketing platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and middlewareCollaboration & DeliveryPartner with Product, UX, Business, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile deliveryMaintain architectural and technical documentationRequired Experience & Skills8+ years Salesforce platform experience with 3+ years architecting solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware) / digital commerce experienceStrong experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, integrationsExperience with Agile, Git, CI/CDEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree (IT / Engineering preferred)Salesforce certifications (CTA, System Architect, B2C Commerce Architect, SFCC Developer ) preferred
