Job Title: Sales & Service EngineerDepartment: Sales & ServiceReports to: Sales HeadLocation: PuneQualification : DME/BE ( Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics)Experience: 3-5 YearsCTC: 4-7 LPAJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Sales & Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge combined with sales skills to handle the complete cycle from enquiry generation and order closure to execution and after-sales support. This role will be primarily responsible for frontline sales activities, customer relationship management and technical service support, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:1.Identify, approach and develop new business opportunities in target industries (ConstructionEquipment, Cranes & Material Handling, Mining, Railways, Defence, etc.).2.Generate new enquiries through visits, calls, exhibitions and networking.3.Prepare and present technical-commercial offers to clients through CRM.4.Negotiate and close orders to meet sales targets.5.Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.6.Stay updated on competitor products, features, and market trends to position Tele Radio effectively.Order Execution & Coordination:1.Close Coordination with the customer for technical approval based on their requirement.2.Ensure smooth execution of orders from receipt to delivery and installation.3.Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Logistics, Service) for timely execution.4.Follow up on Offers , order status, payments and documentation.Service & Technical Support:1.Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including installation guidance andtroubleshooting. Attend service calls and resolve customer issues efficiently.2.Maintain detailed service reports and history for customers.3.Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable Tele Radio solutions (Conduct productdemonstrations, trials, and technical workshops).4.Prepare and maintain technical documents such as wiring diagrams, schematics, and operational procedures & Knowledge On ERP system.5.Experience in programming of QT , CODESYS , Mobile PLC, Python , tools & software Configurator.6.Experience & Knowledge in Various Field Protocols Like RS485, CAN Open, RJ1939, PWM .7.Knowledge with Wireless Solution (Industrial Radio remotes) will be an advantage.8.Strong understanding of electrical circuits, Control panel wiring, hydraulic control systems, includingdesign, implementation and troubleshooting.9.Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.10.Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.11. Hands-on Experience Is requiredCustomer Relationship & Reporting:1.Maintain updated customer databases with enquiry/order/service history.2.Share regular sales pipeline, order status, and market trend reports with management.3.Collect customer feedback and provide inputs for product and service improvement.Qualifications and Key Skills:1.Diploma/BE in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics.2.3–5 years of experience in a Sales & Service role within the industrial equipment/automation domain.3.Strong technical aptitude of industrial control systems, automation solutions or related equipment.4.Ability to build trust with customers and deliver solution-based selling.5.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM tools.6.Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.7.Ability to travel extensively and work independently.8.Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.9.Flexibility to work in coordination with cross-functional teams (Production, Service, Logistics,Procurement).10.Candidate should be in line with the company’s Vision & Spirit of Customer delight & satisfaction.11.Candidate Should Be Self-Motivated & Self-Driven.
