Fundraising Manager

The organization’s mission is to identify relevant social concerns, develop meaningful interventions and ensure their effective, scalable implementation across the country.Position Summary:The Manager – Fundraising will be responsible for driving resource mobilization efforts and building strategic partnerships across corporate, institutional, and individual donor segments.This role requires a result-oriented professional with strong relationship management skills, the ability to build fundraising pipelines, and a deep understanding of the CSR and development ecosystem in India. Key Responsibilities:1. Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Development·        Develop and execute fundraising strategies across multiple channels – CSR, foundations, multilateral agencies, government, alumni, and individual donors ·        Build and manage a robust pipeline of funders and campaigns ·        Identify and activate new funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities ·        Collaborate with leadership to leverage networks and expand 2. Partnerships & Donor Engagement:·        Establish and nurture long-term relationships with corporates, foundations, and key stakeholders ·        Design and implement donor engagement and retention strategies to ensure renewals and upgrades ·        Lead partner meetings, presentations, and engagement initiatives ·        Ensure strong alignment between partner expectations and program delivery 3. CSR & Institutional Fundraising:·        Identify and engage with corporate partners for CSR funding opportunities ·        Develop customized proposals, pitch decks, and presentations ·        Manage end-to-end CSR partnerships, including onboarding, execution, and reporting ·        Ensure compliance with CSR guidelines and donor expectations  4. Campaigns & Events:·        Conceptualize and execute high-impact fundraising campaigns in collaboration with internal teams ·        Plan and manage events, conferences, and donor engagement activities ·        Work closely with marketing and content teams to maximize campaign reach and success 5. Donor Reporting & Communication:·        Ensure timely sharing of donor reports, updates, and impact communication ·        Coordinate with program and finance teams for accurate reporting and documentation ·        Maintain high-quality communication standards with all stakeholders  6. Due Diligence & Compliance:·        Conduct due diligence of partners, donors, and campaigns to ensure credibility and compliance ·        Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, MoUs, and internal processes ·        Support legal documentation and partnership agreements 7. Systems & Process Management:·        Strengthen systems for fund tracking, donor management, and reporting ·        Maintain proper documentation of partnerships, proposals, and communications ·        Contribute to building structured SOPs for the fundraising function  Qualifications and Experience:·        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Social Work, or related field (master’s preferred) ·        5–7 years of relevant experience in fundraising / CSR / partnerships, preferably in the NGO sector ·        Proven track record of mobilizing funds from diverse sources (CSR, foundations, institutions, etc.)  ·        Experience in digital fundraising or crowdfunding platforms ·        Strong network within corporate and CSR circles ·        Familiarity with Maharashtra / India development sector ecosystemKey Skills & Competencies:·        Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills ·        Excellent communication, proposal writing, and presentation abilities ·        Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities ·        Understanding of CSR landscape and funding ecosystem in India ·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within timelines ·        Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) To Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume along with a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and interest in the position to .
