Job Description:
To drive profitable and sustainable business growth through strategic marketing,strong customer relationships, commercial and financial leadership, exportdevelopment, and continuous improvement, while acting as the company brandambassador and primary customer interface.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & Market IntelligenceTrack market, technology, and regulatory trends (EV, NVH, emissions, localization).Identify new product, customer, and segment opportunities.Conduct competitor and price benchmarking.Develop 35 year growth roadmap and productmarket strategy.Recommend investments in tooling, automation, and processes based on ROI.Customer Relationship & Account GrowthBuild strong relationships with OEM & Tier-1 purchase, engineering, and SQA teams.Act as the voice of the customer within the organisation. Lead the junior Key Account Managersteam and delegate effectively.Lead customer reviews, audits, and escalation management.Develop account-wise plans to increase the share of business with existing customers.Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Business Development & New ProgramsTrack upcoming platforms and sourcing cycles for new business opportunities.Lead RFQ evaluation, quotation strategy, and Business nomination follow-ups.Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and business winloss analysis.Take strategic decisions on RFQ participation- Based on overall customer potential, EBITAcontributions, Gross Margin contribution.Commercial, Pricing & ReceivablesOwn part and tooling costing and pricing strategy.Lead commercial negotiations, annual price revisions, and VA/VE initiatives.Drive recovery of RM price increases and other claims.Support Finance on receivables and payment discipline.Financial Planning & Business StrategySupport annual budgeting and business planning with Finance.Provide market inputs for capacity and Capex planning.Evaluate investments using ROI and payback.Export & Global BusinessDevelop export customers and participate in global sourcing programs.Handle overseas customers (including Europe/Italy/Germany).Understand Incoterms, logistics, and basic trade compliance.Communicate fluently in English.Product, Process & Continuous ImprovementDevelop working knowledge of rubber materials, molding processes, tooling, andAPQP/PPAP.Engage with plant and engineering to support feasibility and cost optimization.Improve RFQ, CRM, quotation, and program tracking systems.Brand Representation & NetworkingDeliver high-quality customer presentations and business reviews.Represent company at customer meets, conferences, and industry events.Build strong industry network and brand presence.Team LeadershipLead and develop marketing and commercial teams.Set clear KPIs and accountability.Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, SCM, Production, andFinance.Qualification & ExperienceEducation:Engineering (Mechanical / Polymer / Production preferred)MBA / PGDM (Marketing or Finance preferred)Experience:12 - 20 years in the automotive components industryStrong OEM and Tier-1 customer exposureRubber/elastomer / plastic component experience preferredExport or global sourcing exposure is desirableExperience in business strategy, budgeting, and investmentsKey CompetenciesStrategic and market-oriented mindsetStrong customer relationships and industry networkHigh learning agility and growth mindsetStrong commercial and financial acumenExcellent presentation and communication skills (English)Executive presence and negotiation capabilityContinuous improvement orientationHigh ownership and ethical leadershipKey Performance IndicatorsNew business value and RFQ win rateGrowth in share of business with existing customers, and new customer developmentRevenue and export growth- As per the budgeted Annual Business Plan.Margin improvement and cost recoveries.Receivables performanceEffectiveness of systems and Marketing process improvements.Industry - PolymersKindly reply to this email without changing the subject line with an updated copy of your resume along with the following details.Current CTC:Expected CTC:Notice Period:AI ScreeningAs part of our evaluation process, an initial AI screening round invite will be shared with you shortly.
