Known for its value-driven approach, our firm fosters a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where team members are encouraged to thrive and grow in their careers.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Digital PR and Outreach Lead to build sustained, defensible authority for A Y & J Solicitors across the UK.Your mission is to secure regular, high-quality media coverage in local, regional, and sector-specific UK publications read by employers, founders, and decision makers who hire overseas talent or are exploring personal & UK business immigration.This is earned media, not mass link building.We prioritise consistency, relevance, and correct attribution over viral spikes or vanity coverage. The goal is to position A Y & J Solicitors as a default expert source for business immigration & personal immigration commentary.What You Will Deliver:This is a deliverable-based role, not hourly micromanagement.Monthly outcomes:- A minimum of 8 high-quality PR placements in relevant UK publicationsCoverage must be:- Editorially credible and relevant to employers or business owners- Accurately attributed to AY&J Solicitors- Linked where editorially appropriate- A clear monthly outreach and story strategy based on your expertiseA short performance snapshot covering:- Publications secured- Links earned- Reply ratesSkills Required (Essential):- Strong communication skills in clear, plain English- Proven Digital PR outreach and placement experience- PR writing tailored for journalists and editors, not marketing copy- Ability to pitch and place stories in UK publications- Relationship-based outreach, not volume blasting- Good judgement on relevance, tone, and brand positioning(Nice to have):- Experience in legal, compliance, HR, employment, or regulated B2B sectors- Ability to turn complex topics into practical, publishable insights- Data-led PR or insight-driven storytelling experience- Understanding of how PR supports brand authority and trust long-termHow We Work:- Deliverable-based engagement (example: 8 PR publications per month)- You control the outreach process, angles, and pitching approach- We value proactive ideas, transparency, and realistic timelines- Fast feedback, minimal bureaucracy, and respect for editorial judgement- Long-term collaboration if results are consistentTo Apply:- Ensure you have read the entire job post correctly- Attach 3 PR samples under similar categories or closer to the ones we're looking for, along with your resume
