Experience: 9+ Years PQEPractice Area: General Corporate Advisory / Legal AdvisoryLocation: PuneRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced General Advisory Lawyer (Associate Partner level) with 9+ years of post-qualification experience to provide strategic legal advisory services across a range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. The role involves working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advisory support on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including contractual, regulatory, and governance issues.Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including service agreements, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, and other business contracts.Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.Provide guidance on legal implications of business decisions, transactions, and strategic initiatives.Interpret and analyse applicable laws, rules, and regulatory frameworks, providing actionable advice to clients.Work closely with business teams, senior stakeholders, and external counsel where necessary.Support clients on legal documentation, policy review, and internal compliance frameworks.Identify potential legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Assist in managing disputes and pre-litigation matters from an advisory perspective where required.Mentor junior associates and contribute to knowledge development within the team.Key RequirementsQualified lawyer with 9+ years PQE from a reputed law firm only.Strong experience in general corporate advisory and commercial contracts.Demonstrated ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice.Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Familiarity with Indian corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
