Role -- SAP HANA Performance & Operations Specialist (Functional)Experience – 4 years to 6 yearsNotice Period – Immediate to 15 daysLocation – Pune/Mumbai – Secondary PAN IndiaStrong familiarity with HANA Mini Checks, SQL statement analysis, EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) reports, HANA fundamentals, and ABAP system performance KPIs and transactions, with a focus on monitoring and interpretation.Strong understanding of ABAP development concepts, enabling effective correlation of issues across database and application layers (e.g., function modules, methods, where-used analysis) from an analysis and support perspective.Strong capability in conducting root cause analysis and driving performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams across HANA landscapes.Hands-on experience supporting S/4HANA environments, with working knowledge of ABAP CDS views and Fiori-based application integration with HANA systems from an operations and support standpoint.Extensive experience in SAP HANA operations, administration, and performance optimization for SAP applications such as ERP/BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA.Proven expertise in end-to-end analysis of HANA performance KPIs, including memory, CPU, and I/O bottlenecks, with the ability to recommend corrective actions.Well-versed in SAP technology stacks, cloud platforms, and HANA cloud adoption methodologies from an operations perspective.Good working knowledge of SQL statement analysis on SAP HANA, with the ability to identify expensive statements and collaborate with development teams for optimization.Capable of analyzing system-wide performance bottlenecks at both SAP HANA and OS levels, particularly for ABAP-based applications, and coordinating with relevant teams to trace issues to their ABAP origins.Good knowledge of SAP system housekeeping practices, including data reduction and data archiving strategies for HANA-based systems.Understanding of HANA table partitioning concepts and alignment with SAP application best practices; exposure to data tiering, data aging, and Near-Line Storage (NLS) for BW on HANA to support effective data volume management.Exposure to SAP Suite on HANA and S/4HANA migrations (Greenfield/Brownfield), including participation in system readiness checks, assessments, and post-migration stabilization (shakedown) activities.
