Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Backend Engineer. The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems, ensuring system performance and reliability. The position involves writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems seamlessly. The role also includes contributing to the architectural design and development of backend applications, facilitating effective data flow, and ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and deployment. Qualifications Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software DevelopmentProficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related practicesExperience with Front-End Development and programming fundamentalsKnowledge of scalable system design and microservices architectureFamiliarity with modern frameworks, databases, APIs, and cloud technologiesAbility to problem-solve complex technical challenges and debug efficientlyBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceExperience with high-compliance environments (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.) is a plusStrong communication skills and capability to work collaboratively within remote teams
